Assignment 2-5B   for  Geometry 1st semester

Assignment 2-5B

Three Steps to complete.

1.  Do Written Exercises 9 to 12 all.  You must state your equations and your answers.

2.  Find the answers to these questions below.

3.   Place your answers for both steps above in your Assignment 2-5B.  Then Share.

Find the angles 1, 2, 3, and 4.   Some may have more than one correct answer.   If so give me more than one set of answers.  Some may  not have a correct answer because the given info cannot be correct; if so explain why.

Use the diagram provided.  It is not drawn to scale for these problems.

There are 4 line segments labeled: a, b, c, and d.

Angles 2 and 3 are complementary. The measurements are degrees.

1. angle 1 = 40 and angle 2= 60. Find the other  two angles.

 2. angle 1 = 60 and angle 2= 60. Find the other two  angles.

 3. angle 4 = 40 and angle 2= 60. Find the other two angles.

 4. angle 2 = 40 and angle 3= 60. Find the other two angles.

 5. angle 1 = 40 and it is complementary to angle 2. Find the other two angles.

 6. angle 2 = 25 and angle 4= 55. Find the other two angles.

And which segments must be perpendicular?

 7. angle 3 = 20 and angle 1= 70. Find the other two angles.

 8. angle 3 = 30 and it is complementary to angle 4. Find the other two angles.

And which segments must be perpendicular?
